STUDIES
-I
started in studying drums at the age of 12, attending lessons of
teachers like Luca Mastronardi ,Fiorenzo Sordini and Giorgio Gandino
(classical percussionist at the "Teatro Regio di Torino": Turin's Royal
Theatre). My interest in the '70 UK Progressive Rock and Metal in
general, pushed me to join the "Arti d'Acquario" Musical School of
Furio Chirico (drummer in bands like "Trip" and "Arti e Mestieri"). I
attended the summer stages of the Milan's "Accademia di Musica Moderna"
(Modern Music Academy) with Franco Rossi, and the Afro percussions'
lessons of Karl Potter and Badu Ndjaye. I also attended various
seminars of italian and foreign artists like Tullio De Piscopo, Billy
Cobham, Terry Bozzio, Vinnie Colaiuta, Bill Bruford, Gary Chaffe, Tommy
Campbell, Virgil Donati, Marco Minneman, Gavin Harrison, etc. I
deepened my skills in Composition and Electronic music: at the "Scuola
di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale" (High Level Musical Improvement
School) in Saluzzo I supported the recording sessions for the students'
final examinations. Here, I had the opportunity of increase my skills
in musical production and arrangement.
WORKING EXPERIENCES
-I
started my professional path in 1994: I worked as live/studio musician
for producers like Beppe Crovella (Arti e Mestieri), Marco Calliari
(Subsonica),Roberto Vernetti (Elisa, Irene Grandi, Delta V), Marco
Canepa (Alexia, Zucchero, Branduardi); ; at the same time, I was giving
lessons of drums, percussions and PC music. In 1998 I worked at "Bliss
Corporation" in Turin as programmer. Here, I gained a deep knowledge
about some of the currently most important musical software, like
"Cakewalk", "Cubase", "Logic Audio", "Acid" and many others. Since
1999, I'm registered in the "S.I.A.E." ("Societa' Italiana Autori ed
Editori": Italian Society of Authors and Editors) with a rating of
"Compositore Melodista ed Autore" (Melodies' Writer and Author). Since
2002, I moved from Turin to Genoa, where I'm currently teaching in the
"Modern Drums and Percussions " classes of the "Drum Club Music School"
in Genova-Cornigliano. From 2005 I worked with Drumsportal web-site ,
for which I deal with a didactic department. I'm endorsed by Ideas For
Drummers, for which I designed a model of drumsticks especially
customised for who wants to play Rock, and also for DDRUMS, UFIP
cymbals and EVANS drumheads. I work also with many project-bands:TALKIN
DRUMS' (percussion ensamble), MISSBIT pop-rock band (www.missbit.com),
Gianfranco Reverberi (musical),LAS MARGARITAS big band with Maria
Teresa Ruta.

PRIZES, CONTESTS
-With
the funky metal band "Acknowledge" I partecipated to the "Rino Gaetano"
Prize in 1993. In 1994, I partecipated in the "Primo concorso nazionale
per batteristi" ("First National Contest for Drummers", currently also
known as "PercFest"), promoted by "Batteristi Italiani Associati"
("Joint Italian Drummers"). With the Trip-Hop band "S_INE", I reached
the finals in the contest promoted by the magazine "Fare musica":
"Indipendenti '99" ('99 Independent Artist). With "Ventra" (100% female
band), I partecipated in the "Pellerossa" ("Redskins") Festival, where
we won the "GreenAge Festival" Prize and the "S.I.A.E." Prize as "Best
Emerging Young Band '98". In 1999 I won the "Axe For Music" contest:
because of this, I recordered a TV Spot broadcasted in heavy rotation
by "MTV". The band - Ventra - was choosen as one of the 12 artists for
the finals in "SanRemo Rock 2001": at the time, I performed at the
"Palafiori Radio Hall". I won the "Alessandria Wave" Prize in 2001.
With the videoclip "La Bambola" of the band Missbit I won the

LIVE
-From
1990 to the current days, I collected a lot of live experience with
several bands. Some of the most recent ones: with "Ventra" I opened
dates of "Max Gazze'", "Quintorigo", "Timoria", "Negrita", "Delta-V",
"Giorgia" and "Vasco Rossi" at the "Stadio Delle Alpi" (Alps Stadium,
also known as "Delle Alpi" Stadium) in Turin; Bilbao (Spain) Rock
Festival 2002. I partecipated in the "Musica 2000" Festival together
with Manuel Agnelli from "Afterhours", for a stage about production
activities in discography. In Spring 2003, I left with "Ventra" for a
mini-tour in the main "F.N.A.C." seats of the whole Italy, presenting
for the very first times "Sir Alternative" on videoclip.
RADIO AND TV SHOWS
-I
took part in several Radio and TV shows, both in local broadcasting and
in national broadcasting (on "MTV", "Italia 1", "RAI 1", "RadioFlash",
"GRP", "RAI Radio 2", "IsoRadio", "Rock FM", "Rock TV"). I performed -
live, in direct broadcasting - in the Red Ronnie's TV Show, "HELP", on
"TMC2". With "Ventra", I performed live on TV during "TELETHON 2002",
in national broadcasting ("Ventra" was choosen for "TELETHON" by the

Inizio
lo studio della batteria all’età di 12 anni frequentando le lezioni dei
Maestri Luca Mastronardi,Fiorenzo Sordini e Giorgio Gandino,
percussionisti del Teatro Regio di Torino. L’interesse per il sound
prog-inglese ed il rock mi spinge a frequentare la scuola “Arti
D’Acquario” con il maestro Furio Chirico, già batterista di Trip ed
Arti & Mestieri. Partecipo agli stages estivi dell’Accademia di
Musica Moderna di Milano di Franco Rossi ed alle lezioni di percussioni
afro-cubane di Karl Potter e Badu Ndjaye. Frequento numerosi seminari
di artisti nazionali ed internazionali (Tullio De Piscopo, Billy
Cobham, Terry Bozzio, Vinnie Colaiuta, Bill Bruford, Gary Chaffee,
Tommy Campbell, Virgil Donati, Marco Minneman, Gavin Harrison,ecc.)
Presso la Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale di Saluzzo collaboro
alle sessioni di registrazione per gli esami finali degli allievi.Qui
ho la possibilità di approfondire le mie conoscenze in materia di
musica elettronica, ingegneria del suono, composizione, arrangiamento e
produzione.
ESPERIENZE LAVORATIVE
Dal
1994 intraprendo l’attività professionale; lavoro come turnista live e
studio per produttori quali Beppe Crovella (Arti & Mestieri),Marco
Calliari (Subsonica), Roberto Vernetti (Elisa, Irene Grandi, Delta
V),Marco Canepa (Alexia, Zucchero, Branduardi); incido per case
discografiche americane come Warner, Dagger, Dionysus Records. Dal ’99
sono iscritta SIAE in qualità di Compositore Melodista ed Autore. Dal
2002 mi trasferisco a Genova dove insegno Batteria, Percussioni e PC
music presso la scuola Drum Club (Drum Club, Genova Cornigliano,
www.drumclubge.it ). Nel 2005 fondo l’ensamble di percussioni
“Talkin’Drums”, progetto di cui fanno parte alcuni dei miei migliori
allievi e con il quale ci esibiamo in teatri e festivals. Lavoro con
l’orchestra di Maria Teresa Ruta “Las Margaritas”. Collaboro con la
rock band femminile Missbit (www.missbit.com) , il cui videoclip “La
Bambola” (Venus) ha ricevuto il Premio IMAIE Miglior Videoclip
Indipendente al MEI di Faenza 2006.Sempre con questa band sto
attualmente lavorando ad un musical del Maestro Gianfranco Reverberi, e
ad un album di canzoni inedite che uscirà nel 2008 per la Domenico
Giannini Production. Sono attualmente endorser delle batterie acustiche
DDRUM, dei piatti UFIP,delle pelli Evans e delle bacchette IDEAS FOR
DRUMMERS, per le quali ho firmato un modello appositamente studiato per
il rock.

Linea 77, Bluvertigo,Subsonica, Negrita, Delta V ,Nomadi. Salone della
Musica ‘98 e Musica 2000 con Manuel Agnelli degli Afterhours.
